The Key to Success

What is the key to succeeding in life is to make yourself essential to someone else’s survival.  By making yourself a key factor to somebody else’s living, you will never be expendable.  No one will want to get rid of you because you do your job so well, you are beyond value.

A wise man once said that if you spend fifteen minutes each day studying and practicing a skill, in five years you would wake up and find yourself to be one of the experts in that field, a rarity of your generation.  And that would set you apart from all your peers.

So what does it all boil down to?  Discipline.  Work ethic.  Drive.  Vision.  Integrity.  Does all that sound familiar?  It should.  Old fashioned?  Perhaps.  But it’s values that are universal in their application and so will never become outdated.
